Nancy
E Bohnhoff, DVM is a
graduate of Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine
in 1981, Dr. Bohnhoff completed an
internship in large animal surgery at the University of
Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine, followed by a two year
appointment as an instructor of large animal surgery.
In
1984, she joined a five veterinarian equine practice in New
Jersey where she practiced for 10 years on all types of show
horses and standardbred race horses before relocating to the
Northwest Arkansas area.
Since
1994, Dr Bohnhoff has owned and operated the Heartland Equine
Medical Center, Inc in Fayetteville striving to bring you the
best veterinary medical choices available to the horse owners of
Northwest Arkansas.

Stanley B. Baker, DVM as a new addition to the practice’s
services. Dr. Baker graduated from the University of Georgia, College of
Veterinary Medicine in May 2008 with Magna Cum Laude and Phi Zeta Honors. He
was also a Merial Scholar in 2008 and awarded a UGA Memorial Scholarship for
Mixed Animal Medicine in 2007. He is currently training at the Chi Institute
for Acupuncture in Reddick, FL.
Dr. Baker completed a bachelor’s of science degree
in 1990 at the University of Arkansas and received a Juris Docturate degree
from the College of Law at the University of Arkansas in December, 1992. Dr.
Baker will be providing general equine medicine and surgery services at the
Heartland Equine Medical Center, specializing in acupuncture
